The Georgetown Exxon as you cross the Key Bridge into DC has been a hot topic in development for 3 years running. The final concept plans for a 21 unit, 5 story residential building have been turned into the Old Georgetown Board (OBG) for concept approval. Status updates should come in June after review of the plans.

The project is now called the Hillside Residences and residents of the 21 units will enjoy a rooftop pool deck looking out toward Arlington, lounge areas, a yoga studio and fitness room, and a communal wine cellar. Forty-seven parking spaces will be provided on two underground parking levels.

The unit mix includes two one-bedrooms that will be almost 1,200 square feet, six two-bedrooms ranging from 2,315 to 3,115 square feet, and thirteen three-bedroom units sized from 1,883 to 4,387 square feet. All of the units have outdoor space, large walk-in closets, bonus library rooms or offices and a minimum of two bathrooms; multiple elevators throughout the building will open directly into each unit.

Updated project renderings have been released.
