Prince Georges County “Triple Play”

This program is no longer funded or available. Launched in November, 2014 by Maryland’s Department of Housing & Community Development, the TriplePlay program is part of the existing Maryland Mortgage Program (MMP) incentive program.  Maryland's MMP program already gives you up to $10,000 to use towards the down payment on your first home purchase. The Maryland MMP Mortgage Program is still available.

Program History

The TriplePlay first time home buyer program was designed to offer first time homebuyers and county residents the opportunity to use 3 valuable incentives when buying a home in certain zip codes in Prince Georges County. The program existed due to $100 million made available to the state of Maryland through a lawsuit by several state Attorney Generals against the nation’s five largest mortgage providers in the wake of the housing and foreclosure crisis. Our PrinceGeorgesTriplePlay.com informational website explains the assistance funding and lets you learn more.

This new program was designed to offer first time homebuyers and county residents the opportunity to use 3 valuable incentives when buying a home in certain zip codes in Prince Georges County. The Triple Play Program has ended due to its initial $6 million funding being exhausted.
