Parking and Snow Don't Mix

It appears as if the snow on the ground is causing people to get creative. The snowfall left many cars buried under snow and therefore drivers without transportation. Once cars were freed from the combination of snow and ice, some owners felt entitled to mark their territory, so to speak, with random pieces of furniture so others would not take the spot they worked so hard to dig out. And that’s when people started getting angry. Some owners came home only to find that their furniture had been moved and their spot claimed by another.
A police officer in the neighborhood stopped me while I was digging my own car out of a snow mound and asked if I witnessed any fights in the past hour. Luckily I had not, but it turns out that the stealing of parking spots has caused arguments and fights around the city. Can spring come any sooner?
