Historic Mount Vernon Building Sold For $3.7 Million in Baltimore

One of Charles Street’s many historic commercial buildings was sold recently for $3.7 million. The buyer is an unknown investment group based on the West Coast that purchased the 33,078 sq. ft. building that opened in 1906. The building’s current usage is 25 apartments on the upper levels and 2 street-level retail spaces.

The building is known as the Professional Building located at 330 N. Charles Street. The BizJournals reports on the transaction and notes that several new businesses have opened on the street in the last 12 months. There’s a mix of new dining, a dress franchise and an expanded florist that have all chosen the nearby block.
