Building Agents’ Business: Lead Generation Questions For Agents


If you’re busy with buyers and sellers, you’re not always thinking about it. If you’re in a slow period or a newly licensed agent just getting into the industry, then ‘lead generation’ is probably on your mind.  Here’s food for thought.

Lead generation and turning leads into prospects is a challenging topic for most real estate agents to fully understand. If you’re a historical top producer with all of your leads in a CRM, and you spend focused time prospecting every single day, then you probably do not have any lead generation questions. You’re probably also generating consistent real estate transaction volume and getting regular referrals and new introductions. Congrats on “doing it right”!

If you’re an agent and you don’t match the above criteria, then you should look at your brokerage’s program for bringing you new business. Ask yourself the following questions the next time you’re stressing about your upcoming pipeline of opportunities:

  • Are focused efforts in place to generate leads for you?
