Baltimore’s Harbor East Starts 22 Story Tower With Whole Foods Anchor

A 22 story tower in Harbor East kicked off construction two weeks ago. The tower will be called Liberty Harbor East and is located at 711 S. Central Avenue, a prior surface parking lot. This will be Baltimore’s newest waterfront development project.

The ground level of the tower will contain a 50,000 sq. ft. Whole Foods market and 3,500 sq. ft. of additional retail. Beyond the ground floor, there will be 282 apartments and 35 planned for-sale condominiums. The existing 13,500 sq. ft. Whole Foods in the neighborhood will remain open until construction is complete on the new site.
