The Baltimore Whiskey Co., a local distillery based out of Remington, will be moving to Union Craft Brewing’s new project in the Hampden-Medfield neighborhood. Union Craft is creating a 138,000 sq. ft. space that is a former warehouse into the Union Collective. Baltimore Whiskey Co. will be taking 10,000 sq. ft. within that facility. The address for the Collective is 1700 W. 41st Street.
The company will be moving in around early 2018 and will have a second still, expanded fermentation capacity and a larger tasting room. Basically, they’ll be able to produce a lot more whiskey, and you (and more of your friends) will be able to come “taste it!”
Baltimore Whiskey Co. was founded in 2015 and currently produces the following labels out of its 2800 Sisson Street location:
- Rye Whiskey (coming soon)
- Shot Tower Gin
- Shot Tower Barreled Gin
- Charles St. Apple Brandy
- 1904 Liqueur
Other incoming tenants to the Union Collective will be Union Craft Brewing, Earth Treks of Columbia, the Charmery (of Hampden), Baltimore Whiskey Co., and 4 other tenants.
