6.9 Acres Up For Sale by WMATA Adjacent to Largo Town Center METRO

A large parcel virtually adjacent to the Largo Town Center METRO is up for sale by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority. Bids are due by July 15.  The vacant wooded lot is 6.9 acres and 299,057 sq. ft., and is zoned for commercial/industrial use. WMATA is asking for a minimum of $8 million.

The land is directly southwest of METRO on the opposite of Harry S. Truman Drive from the bus loop. This is also directly west of Ascend Apollo, a 1,500+ residential unit development underway by Peter N.G. Schwartz Co. Inc. that is almost through its first phase of 500 units.
