1600 Block of Benning Road, NE Up For Large Residential Development

1603 Benning Rd NE streetview

This block of Benning Road, Northeast is under plans to become a huge new residential project. Local developers Valor Development presented plans recently on a 250 to 300 unit project that would take up 1603 – 1625 of Benning Road, Northeast. The plans include an on-site dog park and fitness center, as well as a parking garage with 100 spaces for the residents. Affordable dwelling units would be included in the project’s total units.

“This is another exciting new project in the Benning Road area,” said Gerard DiRuggiero, Principal Broker of UrbanLand Company. “This is a logical corridor that has become a hotbed for new projects due to its spillover from H Street. This is going to be a prominent, seven story landmark building in this neighborhood. We’re excited to see how things develop.”

Thanks to UrbanTurf for the activity alert. #FollowDevelopment on Twitter with UrbanLand Company!  “It’s key to know what’s going on in various neighborhoods if you’re thinking about buying a home or condo anywhere in DC. These new project’s can have a huge influence on housing prices of existing project’s around them, particularly in zones where retail, restaurants and other attractions start appearing,” commented DiRuggiero.

Have questions about which neighborhoods are best to buy in? “We’re out here twice a week in our Free Buyer Workshops discussing the hot zones for home buyers,” said Gerard. “There’s great neighborhoods with attractive prices that give you a great foundation to make some long-term money on your 1st home or condo. It all starts with strong guidance from knowledgeable real estate agents.”

Workshops are Tuesday nights at 5:30pm and Saturday mornings at 10am. Workshop space is at 913 Florida Ave., NW. Email us to RSVP or call 202.299.9223.

Here’s several properties our Workshop Attendees have successfully purchased, some of which for $0 Down!
