1,000+ Unit Laurel Apartment Complex Purchased

Another out-of-town investment group has made what sounds like a rather large investment in Maryland. Philadelphia-based real estate firm GoldOller recently purchased the Seasons Apartments in Laurel, a 70 acre apartment complex with 1,088 rental units. The purchase price was not disclosed.

The Seasons is located at 9220 Old Lantern Way in Laurel and was previously owned by Georgia-based Berkshire Communities. It’s off I-95 about a mile from the Laurel MARC train station. The complex was purchased in order to add to GoldOller’s holdings “closer to their home base of Philadelphia.” Renovations are planned to the common areas, amenities and the apartments themselves.

If you live in the Seasons and get nervous about the new ownership and their plans, UrbanLand Company agents are here to help! Learn about Maryland’s $0 Down and Down Payment Assistance mortgages at our Workshops portal here.

The GoldOller portfolio includes over 14,000 residential units located in 18 states with an estimated market value higher than $1.5 billion.
